Persons interested in writing for the Michigan War Studies Review should (a) subscribe to the Review and (b) indicate their qualifications and areas of expertise by contacting us.

Reviews will be vetted by the editor and/or members of the MWSR editorial board; they will be edited for formatting and stylistic consistency. If changes are minor, the review will be published forthwith. If significant changes have been made or need to be made, the review will be returned to its author for approval/revision. Guidelines for reviews are accessible here.

Responses by book authors to reviewers are welcome, even encouraged, particularly to clear up misunderstandings or erroneous attributions. Reviewers may also respond to responses by authors, but Atropos will sever the thread of discussion thereafter.
